AILYN ZHU 
1st place national winner

Ailyn Zhu, a rising 7th grader at Marvin Ridge Middle School, was selected out of thousands of CelebratingArt.com competition entries as one of the ten best art pieces in her grade division for U.S. and Canada. 

CAROLINE FONG
1st NC state place winner 

Caroline Fong, a rising 5th grader at St. Matthew Catholic School, was selected as N.C.’s first place entry for the Junior Duck Stamp Award. 

VARSHA RAJESH 
2nd place NC state winner

A rising 6th grader, Varsha Rajesh from Community House Middle School, placed 2nd in N.C.  for the Wildlife Forever State Fish Arts Contest. 

SARA FISCHETTI 
3rd place SC state winner

Sara Fischetti, a rising 11th grader from Indian Land High School in S.C, placed 3rd in S.C.  for the Wildlife Forever State Fish Arts Contest. 
Fourteen more Allan Fine Art Academy students were selected in the CelebratingArt.com competition in the top 25% at their levels, which qualified them to have their artwork, along with Jailyn Zhu’s, published in an upcoming art book sponsored by Blick Art Materials and Celebrating Art.  Twenty-six Allan Fine art students elected to compete this year in various art contests.

Victoria Abbott, a rising 6th grader at St. Matthew Catholic School, has been notified she has a winning entry in the Ned Smith Center Art Contest. She is still awaiting on final word about placement.
